CHMP7 — Charged multivesicular body protein 7
CHMP7 belongs to a gene co-expression module in 1 of 28 SCUBA cell types. Each module groups genes that rise and fall together in that cell type; the genes it shares a module with are its closest co-expression partners there.

Function
ESCRT-III-like protein required to recruit the ESCRT-III complex to the nuclear envelope (NE) during late anaphase. Together with SPAST, the ESCRT-III complex promotes NE sealing and mitotic spindle disassembly during late anaphase. Recruited to the reforming NE during anaphase by LEMD2. Plays a role in the endosomal sorting pathway.
