LRRK1 — Leucine rich repeat kinase 1
LRRK1 belongs to a gene co-expression module in 1 of 28 SCUBA cell types. Each module groups genes that rise and fall together in that cell type; the genes it shares a module with are its closest co-expression partners there.

Function
Serine/threonine-protein kinase which phosphorylates RAB proteins involved in intracellular trafficking. Phosphorylates RAB7A; this activity is dependent on protein kinase C (PKC) activation. Plays a role in the negative regulation of bone mass, acting through the maturation of osteoclasts (By similarity).
