Why this annotation

IFIT2 is a type I interferon-stimulated gene. SLC15A4 is a pDC-specific peptide/histidine transporter essential for TLR7/9 endosomal signaling and type I IFN production. TFEC is a MiT/TFE transcription factor involved in lysosomal biogenesis. LGMN (legumain) is a lysosomal cysteine protease. BORCS5 is involved in lysosome positioning. PI4K2B is a phosphoinositide kinase on endosomes/lysosomes. MASTL is a mitotic kinase (proliferation). POLB is a DNA repair polymerase. ARHGEF3 is a Rho GEF. GLT1D1 and TMCC3 are less characterized. The module mixes ISG/antiviral (IFIT2, SLC15A4), lysosomal (LGMN, BORCS5, TFEC, PI4K2B), and some proliferation/repair genes. The pDC-specific SLC15A4 and IFIT2 suggest a pDC innate sensing/antiviral program with lysosomal components, though the module is weakly coherent.
