Why this annotation
The hub genes form a coherent housekeeping biosynthesis program: ribosome biogenesis (UTP11, LTV1, WDR3, POLR1D), proteasome assembly and subunits (PSMG2, PSMB4), mitochondrial import and translation (TIMM50, MTIF3, MRPS9, FASTKD2, LETM1), splicing (SNRNP40, PPIE) and ER/COPII components (SRPRA, SEC13). Expression is uniform across subsets with moderate detection. This fits a growth-associated biosynthetic capacity program rather than any monocyte-specific state. It is distinct from its low-expression neighbors (M129, M56), which look like sparse or noise-driven modules.
