Why this annotation
The module is dominated by OxPhos subunits: ATP5F1E/ATP5ME/ATP5IF1/ATP5F1D (ATP synthase/Complex V), NDUFS6/NDUFA1/NDUFA2/NDUFB11/NDUFB1/NDUFA11 (Complex I NADH dehydrogenase), COX17 (Complex IV copper chaperone). Additional members include MRPL52 (mitoribosome), POLR2L (RNA Pol II smallest subunit), ELOB (elongin B), MIF (macrophage migration inhibitory factor/oxidoreductase), and small accessory proteins (TMA7, SERF2, UBL5, NAA38, TMEM160). This is the clearest OxPhos module in the batch, with Complex I and V strongly represented. Significantly upregulated with inflammation. Neighbor M2 shares OxPhos components but adds proteasome; M28 is the purer electron transport chain module.
