NCKAP5L — NCK associated protein 5 like
NCKAP5L belongs to a gene co-expression module in 1 of 28 SCUBA cell types. Each module groups genes that rise and fall together in that cell type; the genes it shares a module with are its closest co-expression partners there.

Function
Regulates microtubule organization and stabilization. Promotes microtubule growth and bundling formation and stabilizes microtubules by increasing intense acetylation of microtubules. Both tubulin-binding and homodimer formation are required for NCKAP5L-mediated microtubule bundle formation.
