Why this annotation
RPRML, TMEM220, SMIM32 and C8G are modestly co-enriched in the proximal small-intestinal K, I, N and MX subsets, and TAC1 is strongly enriched in N cells, suggesting a shared small-bowel regional EEC signature. The enterocyte-typical FABP1 is not localized and may be ambient. TFPI2 and NALCN are confined to rare EC cells, so the module mixes components; its EC and K-cell neighbours do not resolve it to a single program.
