Why this annotation
The core hub RASGRP1 and the strong members MME, CSMD2 and MAPK4 are enriched >=3x in K cells, with secondary EC enrichment that explains the correlation with the EC excitability neighbours. Together they point to a K-cell signaling and sensing program: DAG/Ca2+-responsive RASGRP1, the SCFA receptor FFAR2 and the neprilysin peptidase MME. No incretin gene is in the module, so the K-cell assignment rests on localization alone.
