Why this annotation
EIF3F, EIF3E, EIF3H, EIF3L are all subunits of the eukaryotic initiation factor 3 (eIF3) complex, the largest translation initiation factor. EEF1A1 and EEF1B2 are translation elongation factors. RACK1 (receptor for activated C kinase 1) is a ribosome-associated scaffold protein that regulates translation. SLC25A6 (ANT3) is a mitochondrial ADP/ATP translocator, TOMM20 is the mitochondrial outer membrane import receptor — these peripheral members link to the neighboring OxPhos modules (M92, M39). PRDX5 is a mitochondrial peroxiredoxin. The module is downregulated in inflammation and restored by treatment, consistent with reduced translational capacity in inflamed epithelium.
