Why this annotation
C1QA, C1QB, C1QC are the three subunits of complement C1q, canonically expressed by tissue-resident macrophages and monocyte-derived macrophages. NR1H3 (LXRα) regulates lipid homeostasis in macrophages. ACP2 is a lysosomal acid phosphatase. ITGA9, OLFML2B, SORBS3, SDC3, TSPAN4 support tissue-resident macrophage identity. The module is tightly coherent and significantly upregulated in CD inflammation, decreased in remission.
