Why this annotation
This module mixes activation/co-stimulation (TNFRSF9/4-1BB, CCR8 - a key marker of tissue Tregs, LAIR2), inflammasome/caspase signaling (CASP1, CARD-related, IRAK3), and an interferon-stimulated component (OAS1, IFI6). CCR8 and TNFRSF9 together with LAIR2 strongly evoke activated/tissue-resident Treg state, while OAS1/IFI6 add an IFN signature. The strong delta_inflammation in UC and CD and the overall co-stimulatory/inflammasome theme make this an activated regulatory/inflammatory T cell program. AHSP is a peripheral erythroid contaminant. Given mixed signals but Treg-leaning hubs (CCR8, TNFRSF9, LAIR2), I label it activated Treg/immune-regulatory.
