Why this annotation
This module contains gamma-delta TCR genes TRGC1 and TRGV10, plus RUNX2 (gd T cell development), and CLIC3/CLIC5, SYTL2 (cytotoxic granule trafficking). EGLN3 is a hypoxia sensor. The presence of TRGC1/TRGV10 indicates a gamma-delta T cell signature, likely a contaminating/related innate-like lineage rather than conventional CD4 T cells. Given the clear gd TCR markers, this reflects a distinct lineage state.
