Why this annotation
A low-expression, diffuse module with mixed hubs: USP51 (deubiquitinase), CLNK (cytokine-dependent hematopoietic adaptor), CDK14, HDAC9 (a Treg-associated histone deacetylase regulating FOXP3), CEBPA, MRC1 (macrophage mannose receptor - peripheral myeloid gene), FCRL3 (an autoimmunity-associated receptor on Tregs). HDAC9 and FCRL3 lean toward Treg/immune regulation, and the inflammation association is consistent. However coherence of program is weak and several genes (MRC1, COL9A2, CPA5, SLC genes) are non-canonical. Best supported label is immune regulation with low certainty.
