Why this annotation
Every gene is sharply enriched in pre_EEC; hubs are progenitor and early-commitment regulators MEX3A, MYCL, SOX4, EZH2, TEAD2 and GPR161, with growth genes SRM and RCC2. It is the most sharply localized, regulator-rich module of the pre_EEC neighbourhood, distinct from the biosynthetic growth modules; endothelial/DC-typical genes are localized to pre_EEC and thus genuine.
