Why this annotation
This program is shared by pre_EEC, MX and D cells and carries the stem/precursor markers LGR5 and NUMBL (a Notch antagonist) plus SCUBE3 and the secretory gene SEC11C. That fits an immature EEC state partly retained in D cells, and its tight correlation with SMOC2/FOXA2 crypt state and CDKN1C cycle-exit progenitor supports a progenitor identity. Several hubs lack endocrine roles.
