Why this annotation
Very sparse module (6.9% detection) of rare transcripts with a neuro-adrenergic flavour: ADRA2B (alpha-2B adrenergic receptor mediating smooth-muscle vasoconstriction), RIMS3 (synaptic active-zone Rab3 effector), PPP2R2B (neuronal PP2A subunit), PTPN3, USP2 (circadian deubiquitinase in muscle), LSMEM2 (muscle-enriched), plus CLYBL, SLC22A18, FBXL13, BCAS4 and the cilia gene CCDC153. Coherence is driven largely by shared low detection, but the adrenergic-receptor/neurotransmission content suggests a minor neurally-responsive SMC subpopulation rather than a defined contamination; interpret cautiously given it sits among genuine SMC subtype modules.
