Why this annotation
This module contains genes typical of a freshly recruited, blood-like classical monocyte program shared with granulocytes. These include NLRP12, a negative regulator of inflammation in myeloid cells; IL17RA; RAB27A, which drives degranulation; CRISPLD2, which is LPS-binding; and the granulocyte-associated genes MEGF9, GLT1D1, CPD and ARHGAP24. It is a neighbor of M33 and M29, which supports an early-recruited monocyte state.
