Why this annotation
Hubs MAPK14, CRISPLD2, RAB27A, CR1, PLBD1, ITGB2, LILRA5, GCA, TLR8, IL17RA, NFE2 and SULT1B1 form the canonical mature neutrophil identity program. It combines tertiary granule cargo (GCA, PLBD1), secretory vesicle machinery (RAB27A), complement receptor CR1, β2 integrin and innate sensors. The module is tightly co-regulated, broadly expressed and enriched in no particular subset, consistent with baseline mature neutrophil function rather than an activation state. It is the high-expression anchor of the neighborhood. M60, M24 and M99 appear to be graded tissue-activation layers built on this backbone.
