Why this annotation
Hubs UBE2L6, PLSCR1, PARP14, PARP9, TAP2, TRIM22, EPSTI1, PSMB9 and STAT1 are interferon-stimulated genes covering ISGylation, antigen processing and the PARP9-DTX3L axis. This is a broad ISG module at intermediate expression. It is distinct from the canonical type I module M95 and the IFN-gamma-biased module M79, consistent with a shared STAT1-driven program across the neighborhood. Its emphasis on antigen processing and ubiquitin-like ligases fits a STAT1-dependent IFN response.
