Why this annotation
Hub genes: HSPA6 (highly inducible HSP70 family member, stress-specific), HSPA1A and HSPA1B (inducible HSP70 isoforms), HSPB1 (HSP27, small heat shock protein), DNAJB1 (HSP40 co-chaperone), BAG3 (BAG family co-chaperone, autophagy/apoptosis), FKBP4 (FK506-binding protein/HSP90 co-chaperone), SERPINH1 (HSP47, collagen chaperone/ER stress), HSPA4 (HSP110 family). SNAP23 (SNARE protein, vesicle fusion) and RHOB (Rho GTPase) are peripheral. This module represents the inducible heat shock response, distinct from the constitutive chaperones in M14. HSPA6 is particularly notable as it is only induced under severe proteotoxic stress. The lower pct positive (24.2%) compared to M14 (44.9%) is consistent with a more acute/inducible stress response in a subset of cells.
