WBP2 — WW domain binding protein 2
WBP2 belongs to a gene co-expression module in 2 of 28 SCUBA cell types. Each module groups genes that rise and fall together in that cell type; the genes it shares a module with are its closest co-expression partners there.

Function
Acts as a transcriptional coactivator of estrogen and progesterone receptors (ESR1 and PGR) upon hormone activation. In presence of estrogen, binds to ESR1-responsive promoters. Synergizes with YAP1 to enhance PGR activity. Modulates expression of post-synaptic scaffolding proteins via regulation of ESR1, ESR2 and PGR (By similarity).
