Why this annotation
ZEB2 is a master transcription factor for mature/terminally differentiated NK cells. Combined with GZMB (cytotoxicity), STK10 (lymphocyte kinase), PRKCH (PKC signaling), CAST (calpastatin/calpain inhibitor), and PPP2R5C (phosphatase regulation), this module reflects the mature NK cell differentiation state with cytotoxic capacity. Upregulated significantly in CD inflammation, consistent with recruitment of mature NK cells to inflamed intestine.
