Why this annotation
The hubs are FABP1, SLC51B (OSTbeta basolateral bile acid exporter), FABP6 (ileal bile-acid binding protein), RBP2 (retinol-binding protein) and AKR1B10. This defines a mature absorptive colonocyte/enterocyte program for lipid, bile acid and retinoid uptake and transport. DHRS11, AKR1B10 and GLRX contribute reductase/redox activity, and PHGR1 is an absorptive epithelium marker. Coherence is core and expression uniform, consistent with differentiated epithelial identity. It is complementary to M60, the detoxification/metabolic arm of the same terminally differentiated state.
