Why this annotation
CD34 and SFRP2 are canonical markers of quiescent intestinal stromal fibroblasts (CD34+SFRP2+ fibroblast subset). OMD and CILP are ECM proteoglycans. C1QTNF3 is a collagen-domain protein expressed in stroma. CLDN11 (claudin-11) marks specific stromal subtypes. MYOC (myocilin) and IGSF10 are additional stromal markers. SFRP2 antagonizes Wnt signaling. Module is strongly downregulated in inflammation, consistent with loss of the quiescent CD34+ fibroblast state during disease.
