Why this annotation
TLN1 (talin-1) is a master regulator of integrin-mediated adhesion and mechanosensing. ACTR3 and ACTR2 are the ATPase subunits of the Arp2/3 complex (actin nucleation). LCP1 (L-plastin) bundles actin filaments and is critical for NK cell cytotoxic synapse formation. MSN (moesin) links actin to the plasma membrane via ERM family function. ACTG1 (γ-actin) is a structural actin isoform. CD38 is an NK cell activation marker upregulated during cytotoxic activation. LNPEP (leucyl-cystinyl aminopeptidase) and XPO1 (exportin-1, nuclear export) are peripheral. The combination of talin, Arp2/3, L-plastin, and moesin with CD38 strongly suggests NK cell activation with cytoskeletal polarization toward the immunological synapse.
