Why this annotation

All 8 genes are classical M-phase/mitosis markers. SGO1 (shugoshin, protects centromeric cohesion); RACGAP1 (centralspindlin complex, cytokinesis); CKAP2L (cytoskeleton-associated, mitotic spindle); CDCA2 (repo-man, chromosome decondensation at mitotic exit); TOP2A (topoisomerase IIα, required for chromosome segregation, canonical proliferation marker); CEP55 (centrosomal protein, midbody, cytokinesis); NUSAP1 (nucleolar and spindle-associated protein, mitotic spindle stabilization); TACC3 (centrosomal, spindle assembly). This module is essentially a pure mitosis/cytokinesis module, distinguishable from M61 (kinetochore-attachment/spindle assembly checkpoint) by its emphasis on spindle organization and cytokinesis execution. Coherence is core with uniform expression across subsets consistent with a cycling cell minority.
