Why this annotation
The hub genes are CDT1, HELLS, GINS2, MCM2-7, FEN1, ORC6, PCNA, CLSPN, LIG1, RFC3 — all canonical DNA replication initiation and elongation factors. MCM2-7 form the replicative helicase, GINS2 is part of the CMG complex, CDT1 is a replication licensing factor, PCNA is the sliding clamp, FEN1 is a flap endonuclease, LIG1 is DNA ligase I. STMN1 (stathmin) is a microtubule destabilizer expressed in proliferating cells. This is a tightly coherent S-phase/DNA replication module. Low pct positive (4.3%) is consistent with a small proliferating crypt progenitor population. Neighbor context: M72 and M106 are also cell cycle modules, confirming this neighborhood represents the proliferative program.

Module annotations were drafted by a large language model from the module's genes, then reviewed and approved by a domain expert. See sources & licences.
