Why this annotation
Most members are long, neuronal-type genes detected at low levels in enterocytes: PLCL1, LIN7A, SEMA5A, ADAMTSL1, OPCML, KHDRBS2, RALYL and ZSWIM5. Their low detection (44%) and uniform distribution point to a nuclear/intronic long-gene capture signal. SLC10A2 (ileal bile acid transporter) is an outlier.
