LTBR — Lymphotoxin beta receptor

LTBR belongs to a gene co-expression module in 2 of 28 SCUBA cell types. Each module groups genes that rise and fall together in that cell type; the genes it shares a module with are its closest co-expression partners there.

Function

Receptor for the heterotrimeric lymphotoxin containing LTA and LTB, and for TNFS14/LIGHT. Activates NF-kappa-B signaling pathway upon stimulation with lymphotoxin (LTA(1)-LTB(2)). Promotes apoptosis via TRAF3 and TRAF5. May play a role in the development of lymphoid organs.
