Why this annotation
SRPRA encodes the SRP receptor alpha subunit, essential for co-translational ER targeting of secretory proteins. HM13 (signal peptide peptidase) cleaves signal peptides after translocation. SELENOS is an ERAD component responding to ER stress. ARFGAP3 regulates COPI at the Golgi. AP3S1 is part of the AP-3 adaptor for lysosomal/secretory vesicle sorting. ARMCX3 localizes to mitochondria-ER contacts. This module coordinates co-translational ER insertion, signal peptide processing, and ERAD — the earliest steps of the secretory pathway. Strongest inflammation upregulation and remission reversal among the three neighbor modules.
