Why this annotation
STAT1, GBP2, GBP4, GBP5, IFI44, APOL6, and TRIM56 are all canonical interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs), with GBP2/4/5 being among the most specific IFN-gamma-induced effectors. LACC1 is expressed in macrophages/ILCs under inflammatory conditions. TNFSF12 (TWEAK) and IL1R1 add inflammatory receptor signaling. The significant delta_inflammation (0.586) strongly supports an IFN-gamma-driven inflammatory response upregulated in gut inflammation. This is the clearest and most coherent module in the batch.
