Why this annotation

MPRIP (myosin phosphatase Rho-interacting protein) directly regulates actomyosin contractility by anchoring myosin phosphatase to actin stress fibers. CAPN2 (calpain-2) is a calcium-dependent protease that cleaves cytoskeletal proteins during cell contraction and permeability changes. GNB2 (G-protein β2 subunit) mediates GPCR signaling upstream of Rho/actomyosin. PEA15 modulates ERK and apoptosis signaling. INPP5A regulates inositol phosphate/Ca²⁺ signaling. NID1 (nidogen-1) is a basement membrane component whose remodeling accompanies cytoskeletal changes. The module is upregulated in both UC and CD inflammation, consistent with inflammatory cytokine-driven endothelial contraction and barrier disruption. The actomyosin/GPCR/Ca²⁺ axis is a well-established mediator of vascular permeability in inflammation.
