Why this annotation

The module is anchored by three RAB GTPases (RAB8A, RAB11B, RAB11A) which are master regulators of vesicular trafficking — RAB11 specifically controls recycling endosomes, and RAB8A governs exocytic/recycling routes. SNX5 (sorting nexin-5) functions in endosomal cargo sorting, CHMP1A is an ESCRT-III component for multivesicular body biogenesis, RALBP1 is a RAL effector involved in endocytosis, and VTI1B is a SNARE protein mediating vesicle fusion. ILK links integrins to vesicle-mediated trafficking. ELOVL1 and CYB5B contribute lipid metabolism context (lipid composition of vesicle membranes). PPP4C and ICMT are regulators of Ras/RAB prenylation and signaling. Together this is a coherent vesicle trafficking/endosomal recycling program. Uniform expression indicates constitutive housekeeping activity in gd T cells.
