Why this annotation
MME (CD10/neprilysin) is a canonical surface marker of common lymphoid progenitors (CLPs) and B-cell precursors in the bone marrow; CD10 expression defines the earliest committed B-lymphoid progenitors. CCR9 is a chemokine receptor critical for lymphoid precursor homing to the thymus and intestine, expressed on T-cell and B-cell progenitors. Together, CD10 + CCR9 strongly marks lymphoid-committed progenitors. BASP1 is expressed in B-cell precursors. LSAMP (limbic system-associated membrane protein) and SCN3A have been noted in some lymphoid progenitor profiles. The very low pct positive (4%) is consistent with a rare committed lymphoid progenitor population within the HPC compartment. OSBPL3, SPON1, and LZTFL1 are less clearly lymphoid but are co-regulated in this context.
