Why this annotation
Hub genes include CD7 and ID3 (key markers of immature/naive T cells and innate-like lymphocyte development), CD38 (activation/differentiation marker co-expressed in early lymphocyte states), MZB1 (ER program associated with developing lymphocytes), and STK17A (stress kinase in T cell apoptosis). NCF1 and ACP5 add minor myeloid flavor but the module is uniform and coherent, suggesting a low-frequency immature/developmental gd T cell state with activation of ER and developmental transcriptional programs. ID3 is a master regulator of innate-like T cell development and quiescence, strongly anchoring this as a developmental/immature program.
