Why this annotation
Hub genes include MED13L (Mediator complex subunit), SAP30 (Sin3A corepressor complex), TOB1 (anti-proliferative mRNA deadenylation factor), MEF2A and CITED2 (transcriptional coactivators), SOX4 (developmental transcription factor), and MAP3K5/ASK1 (stress-activated kinase). These collectively point to transcriptional co-regulatory and stress-responsive programs. Enrichment is predominantly in SLO_ILC3 and circ_ILC3, consistent with ILC3 contamination as seen in the neighboring M8 module. The shared ILC3 enrichment pattern across both modules supports a common contamination origin. MALT1 (NF-κB/CBM complex) and TEC (Tec kinase) further support lymphocyte signaling context consistent with ILC3.
