SCUBA

FYB1 — FYN binding protein 1

FYB1 belongs to a gene co-expression module in 6 of 28 SCUBA cell types. Each module groups genes that rise and fall together in that cell type; the genes it shares a module with are its closest co-expression partners there.

Function

Acts as an adapter protein of the FYN and LCP2 signaling cascades in T-cells (By similarity). May play a role in linking T-cell signaling to remodeling of the actin cytoskeleton. Modulates the expression of IL2 (By similarity). Involved in platelet activation (By similarity). Prevents the degradation of SKAP1 and SKAP2. May be involved in high affinity immunoglobulin epsilon receptor signaling in mast cells (By similarity).
