SCUBA

WDR74 — WD repeat domain 74

WDR74 belongs to a gene co-expression module in 6 of 28 SCUBA cell types. Each module groups genes that rise and fall together in that cell type; the genes it shares a module with are its closest co-expression partners there.

Function

Regulatory protein of the MTREX-exosome complex involved in the synthesis of the 60S ribosomal subunit. Participates in an early cleavage of the pre-rRNA processing pathway in cooperation with NVL. Required for blastocyst formation, is necessary for RNA transcription, processing and/or stability during preimplantation development (By similarity).
