SCUBA

EHD4 — EH domain containing 4

EHD4 belongs to a gene co-expression module in 6 of 28 SCUBA cell types. Each module groups genes that rise and fall together in that cell type; the genes it shares a module with are its closest co-expression partners there.

Function

ATP- and membrane-binding protein that probably controls membrane reorganization/tubulation upon ATP hydrolysis. Plays a role in early endosomal transport. During sprouting angiogenesis, in complex with PACSIN2 and MICALL1, forms recycling endosome-like tubular structure at asymmetric adherens junctions to control CDH5 trafficking (By similarity).
