RBM39 — RNA binding motif protein 39
RBM39 belongs to a gene co-expression module in 9 of 28 SCUBA cell types. Each module groups genes that rise and fall together in that cell type; the genes it shares a module with are its closest co-expression partners there.

Function
RNA-binding protein that acts as a pre-mRNA splicing factor. Acts by promoting exon inclusion via regulation of exon cassette splicing. Also acts as a transcriptional coactivator for steroid nuclear receptors ESR1/ER-alpha and ESR2/ER-beta, and JUN/AP-1, independently of the pre-mRNA splicing factor activity (By similarity).
